Summary:
Under TxDOT Project 0-4563, researchers at The University of Texas at Austin developed an innovative software package known as ConcreteWorks, which gives laboratory technicians, engineers, inspectors, and contractors a tool that combines concrete design, analysis, and performance prediction to improve and guide TxDOT to better designs. Although ConcreteWorks has been very well received at the national and international levels. Through a combination of training and implementation support, the goal of this project was to spur the implementation of ConcreteWorks within TxDOT.
