"ConcreteWorks is designed to be a user-friendly software package that can help concrete professionals optimize concrete mixture proportioning, perform a concrete thermal analysis, and increase the chloride diffusion service life. The software package contains design modules for several structural concrete applications, including mass concrete shapes, bridge decks types, precast concrete beams, and concrete pavements... It is assumed that users will have a good knowledge of fundamental concrete materials principles and practices. The purpose of this manual is not to give an exhaustive compilation on all concrete thermal, durability, and corrosion research in the literature. Instead, this manual is designed assist the user with the specific knowledge of concrete behavior needed to successfully use ConcreteWorks, built upon an already existing knowledge of fundamental concrete behavior. It is recommended that users carefully read this user manual as well as cited references as needed before using the software."
