To access the Forum page
Click Forums on the menu bar.
Click a forum.
To use the Forum page
If the forum has moderators, they are shown at the top of the Forum page. Featured Topics (if any) such as FAQs or "How to Use this Forum" are listed first, followed by a list of Normal Topics.
You may be able to perform the following actions on this page:
Click a Topic link to see the thread (posts and replies) and perform any actions allowed by your role (reply, tag, rate, print, e-mail, edit, delete, subscribe, moderate, lock or unlock, and feature or unfeature a topic).
Click Add New
Topic to start a thread. Fill in the Title
and use the HTML Editor to enter content
for the post, then click Save.
Click Subscribe
to follow this topic by getting e-mails with the latest replies. Use the
resulting dialog box to specify an e-mail address and set the frequency
of the alerts.
Click RSS
to subscribe to this forum as an RSS feed.
If the forum requires Post Approval and there are posts awaiting approval, forum moderators can click Approve Posts to approve, edit or delete items awaiting approval. Forum moderators can toggle between Show All and Show Only Approved to help determine which topics have and have not been approved.
Click Back to Forum Listing to return to the main forums page.
The Forum page may include the following features:
A Lock icon
indicates that the thread has been locked, so new posts cannot be added.
A Folder icon
indicates unread posts.
The Topic column lists the topic title, which you can click to access the topic.
The Topic Starter is the name of the user who started the thread.
The Replies column indicates the number of replies in the thread.
The Views count indicates how many times the topic title has been clicked (total number of views, not unique views).
The Rating column indicates the number of stars given to the first post in this thread.
The Last Post indicates the date, time, and user name of the most recent post.
